SUZANNE
KIM

About

Suzanne Kim tells stories that sit somewhere between dream and memory – visually poetic, emotionally precise, and grounded in lived experience.

Her reel speaks for itself, spanning global heavyweights like Apple, Samsung, Hyundai, Jordan, and P&G. She’s been recognised at Cannes Lions, SXSW and The Clio Awards, and named one of Vogue Australia’s “New Class of Australian Female Directors To Know”.

Suzanne’s long-form credits include Night Bloomers (SXSW, SBS Digital Originals). She’s currently developing her debut feature and online series, with her short film 'Let The Neon Lights Dance' currently doing the rounds on the festival circuit.

Often drawing on her experience growing up Korean-Australian, Suzanne explores identity, womanhood and social impact through an experimental, expressive lens.

Off-set, she’s just as curious—experimenting in the kitchen, flipping through stacks of literature, and forever hunting for the perfect Sundubu-jjigae, usually with a rare film score playing in the background.
