Aussie born, South African bred and now residing in Singapore, Jeana Khoury brings an enigmatic and heartfelt vision to her work. An artist at heart she has an Honours degree in Fine Arts, which allowed her to get her first gig as a creative researcher. The next step was to shoot her first spot which received 3rd place for Cannes Young Director Award. Her work depicts the universal themes of female empowerment, with spots that span from light-hearted fashion and beauty work, to raw politics and policy, to visually rich food and beverage campaigns. Jeana has directed numerous campaigns for clients such as J&B, KFC, Toyota, Hyundai, Environ, Scottish Leader, MTN, FNB, Jo’Burg Ballet and MSF. She has received armfuls of awards for her work, most notably 2 Golds, 2 Silvers, 3 Bronzes, a Glass Lion shortlist plus a merit award from Cannes for 3 different campaigns. She’s won the Loeries Grand Prix twice and got Gold for at Ciclope for direction.

This year she judged film craft for Cannes and judged Loeries in 2022 and 2020. In between shooting commercials she’s currently developing a Musical Romantic Comedy with Amy J. Moore, the force behind the acclaimed “No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency."
