BEATRICE
PEGARD

About

Beatrice Pegard is a French-Australian writer and director. A lover of surreal imagery, absurdist theatre, road movies, abstract art, funny people, and all things wild.

Beatrice’s work is as rich, varied and colourful as the experiences and influences she brings to the table, mixing surrealism, irreverence, nostalgia and anachronistic imagery – always with a focus on performance, choreography and seamless CG integration.

Beyond her artistic prowess, Beatrice holds a MA and a PHD in Political and Environmental Sciences, underscoring her unwavering commitment to sustainable filmmaking. Her view is that “we cannot deeply care about the environment in our daily lives and not try our best to apply this in our creative practice.

With a harmonious blend of knowledge and inspiration, Beatrice's creativity knows no bounds. Her artistry and environmental advocacy leave us in awe, making her a true trailblazer in the world of filmmaking.
