In December 2023, after two years of dedicated effort, The Sweetshop proudly submitted its completed B Corp application, aiming to achieve full certification by mid-2024.
Certified 'B Corporations' stand at the forefront of the global movement toward an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
B Corp isn’t about being perfect; it’s about embracing progress.
It symbolises a commitment to continuous improvement and accountability, recognising that businesses have a responsibility that extends beyond profit margins; encompassing the well-being of employees, communities, and the environment.
To meet the rigorous standards of certification, we’ve subjected our business to thorough scrutiny from every conceivable angle: sustainability, career pathways, philanthropy, diversity and inclusion, and the establishment of frameworks for ongoing enhancement.
