Choānn is no stranger to the worlds of music and film. A genre-blending filmmaker with a bold visual style, he moves effortlessly between commercials, fashion films, and music videos—crafting work that lingers long after the screen fades to black. His distinctive eye has led him to collaborations with artists like The Sam Willows, Jasmine Sokko, and Iman Fandi, creating music videos as striking as his narrative work.

Selected for the Asian Film Academy at Busan and nominated for Best Direction at the National Youth Film Awards for Come Fly Away with Me (《随我飞翔》), Choānn has already made his mark despite being early in his career. His style? Impossible to pin down—sometimes futuristic, sometimes stripped-back and contemplative, always visually electric. Whether dazzling or disorienting (in the best way), Choānn’s work refuses to be ignored.
