ALBERT
MOYA
About
Albert Moya is a Catalonia-born filmmaker known for crafting emotionally charged, visually striking work that sits somewhere between dream and memory. He cut his teeth on film sets as art director, before moving to New York in 2011 to pursue directing—quickly catching attention with his short American Autumn, which landed on Nowness and sparked a string of collaborations across design, architecture and fashion.
His breakout moment came with Baton, a hauntingly elegant black-and-white fashion film for Dries Van Noten that set the tone for what would become Moya’s signature: rich, cinematic worlds where emotion leads the way. Inspired by experimental cinema, Moya’s work defies traditional storytelling—surreal yet intimate, provocative yet poetic.
Since then, he’s brought his distinct vision to global powerhouses including Dior, Prada, Loewe, Jacquemus, Gucci, Bulgari, Rimowa, and Louis Vuitton. Whether it’s a music video, fashion film or documentary, Albert’s lens is always tuned to feeling. He doesn’t just direct scenes—he constructs moments you live inside.
